Expressions of interest: Exmoor National Park Authority
The project comprises the dissemination phase of the English Heritage funded Exmoor National Mapping Programme (NMP) project, following on from the survey phase which was completed in July 2009. (http://www.english-heritage.org.uk/server/show/nav.11316)

The product will comprise a popular publication of approximately 30,000 words, with a local focus but a national audience. The subject of the book is the reclamation and improvement of Exmoor from the medieval period to the 19th century, with a focus on the latter period. It will comprise a heavily illustrated volume with illustrations including aerial and ground photographs, maps and plans derived from the NMP survey transcriptions and several reconstruction illustrations.
