Due to limitations of space, shorter articles are preferred
for the Newsletter, usually no more than 2 pages (max. c.1500
words).
Text should preferably be supplied in Word format, either
on disk or via e-mail. Please do not include any graphics
embedded in the document; if graphics are to be included in
the article, please send these as separate files or as hard
copy.
Graphics
Illustrations, photographs and other graphic material should
be supplied on disk or as hard copy. If sending hard copy,
please supply as high-quality photocopy, printout or CRC.
Certain file formats (e.g. Adobe Illustrator files) may be
sent by e-mail, but please do not send scanned raster images
in this way. Please consult the Editor if in doubt about graphics
files. In general, artwork supplied as scanned images must
be at a minimum of 300 dpi resolution at final reproduction
size.
Images in both colour and monochrome are welcome. Maximum
image area is usually 175 x 245mm (portrait) or 247 x 160mm
(landscape) but there is the possibility of double-page spreads
if the material warrants it. The Editor reserves the right
to resize images to fit space available except where illustrations
are to be reproduced at a specific scale.
